The USO ...
... is the only symphony orchestra for non-professionals in the north-east. It was founded in 1994 under the direction of Sacred Music Director Prof. Jochen A. Modeß and is now directed by University Music Director Harald Braun.
... plays everything from Bach to Badelt and is constantly rising to new challenges.
... has already performed for German Presidents and crowned heads of state.
... serves training aspects for sacred music students as part of their Diplom examinations.
... brings together first-year students and alums, insurance brokers and pastors, school pupils and teachers.
... helps individuals find friends (or even a partner) for life.
